A Brief Review of The Great Reset: Joe Biden and the Rise of 21st Century Facism

The Great Reset: Joe Biden and the Rise of 21st Century Fascism by Glenn Beck is a book written in 2022 about the rise of global authoritarianism in the 21st century, the roots of this movement, and the actors pushing this fascism throughout the world. While struggling to define it due to its nebulous nature, Beck defines The Great Reset as “something like ‘modern corporate cronyist techno socialistic international fascism’” or more simply as “twenty-first century fascism" (31). The Great Reset is an attempt to use various crises to curb individual liberty, rebuild the economy, and usher in a new world order.

Beck does an excellent job demonstrating an order to the chaos that can often seem dumbfounding to the average reader (like myself). He demonstrates that the Covid Pandemic, the authoritarian measures taken during the pandemic, the climate hysteria, global debt, etc. are all part of a plan by the World Economic Forum, George Soros, Joe Biden, and other powerful elites to destroy the global economy establish world-wide fascism. While the average reader understands that these events are all crippling to the American economy, Beck shows that these seemingly unrelated events/policies are all used to further The Great Reset. The clarity he provides is very helpful.

Although the book came out in 2022, I believe it could already be updated. One update Glenn Beck could add to the work is the role that Dr. Fauci and Big Pharma play in the Great Reset. Contrary to Dr. Anthony Fauci’s testimony before Congress, the NIH WAS funding Gain-of-Function research at the Wuhan Institute of Virology. Dr. Fauci lied, and obviously not out of benevolence. During his tenure, he became the highest paid employee of the federal government. He greatly exaggerated the efficacy of the Covid-19 vaccines. Given his lies that, at best, did not help mitigate the pandemic in any way, it is logical to wonder what role he plays (played?) in the Great Reset? Moreover, this led to the rollout of the Pfizer, Moderna, and Johnson & Johnson vaccines, one of which was pulled from the market and the other two of which report significant amounts of adverse effects. All of this leaves this reader wondering “what role does Big Pharma play in advancing twenty-first century global fascism?” If Glenn Beck covered this in his book, taht would have helped the audience tremendously.
